She stresses upon minimal medication and more on the healthy conventional eating for nutrition and good health. She takes great interest and explains everything in detail giving sufficient time. She also share experiences to make the patient comfortable esp if its 1st pregnancy. When my parents accompanied me in one of the consultation, she made them understand the pregnancy journey and the status giving minute details. I feel great to have chosen her as my doctor.

How to Improve Chances of Normal Delivery
1. Early Registration with Your Gynecologist, as soon your Pregnancy is Confirmed; and You are Prepared to take it further.
2. Regular Diet & Exercises as advised by your Gynecologist, or their team.
3. Antenatal care is the care you receive from a doctor, during pregnancy. During prenatal care visits, your Obstetrician will make sure you and the developing fetus are healthy and strong. These regular check-ups are your chance to learn how to manage the discomforts of pregnancy, have any testing you may need, learn warning signs, and ask any questions you may have.
4. Dr. Deepika Tiwari has designed a special Antenatal care plan which incorporates all the essential blood tests and Ultrasound scans, with assessment by a Nutritional specialist and Physiotherapist, at regular intervals. The Ultrasound scans and blood testing checks for any congenital anomaly in high risk patients. Pregnant mothers are usually followed on a fortnightly or monthly basis depending upon the trimester or the gestational age.
5. Adequate prophylaxis is started early to prevent Anemia or Vitamin D deficiency, owing to increased demands. Special care is taken in patients with abnormal blood sugar levels, or those with thyroid dysfunction. Such expectant mothers are usually treated in collaboration with an Endocrinologist.
6. There is also a special provision for a joint assessment by the Obstetrician, Endocrinologist, Nutritionist and a Physio, if the situation warrants. Dr Deepika Tiwari believes in offering all the services related to antenatal and postnatal care under one umbrella. There is also a special care nurse who keeps a follow up with the patients, and offers advice in handling day to day queries from expectant mothers.
